Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has secured a 527 megawatt (MW) turbine order from an undisclosed customer for a wind project in the United States, the company said on Thursday.
Vestas will supply its V150-4.5MW model turbines for the development, with delivery expected to begin in the second quarter of 2026. The project is scheduled for commissioning in the final quarter of the same year.
The agreement also includes a five-year service contract and an operational support arrangement for the same period.
The company did not disclose the name or location of the project or customer involved in the deal. However, the order continues Vestas’ activity in the U.S. market, one of its key regions for wind energy deployment.
No further details were provided by Vestas at this stage.
