German energy group RWE has completed construction and begun operations at one of its largest onshore wind farms in Italy, the 53-megawatt (MW) Mondonuovo project, located in the Apulia region. The wind farm, situated in the municipality of Mesagne in the province of Brindisi, is equipped with nine turbines, each with a capacity of 5.9MW.
