Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex Group reported 2.3 gigawatts (GW) of new orders in the second quarter of 2025, marking an 82% increase compared to the same period in 2024, the company said on Wednesday.
The company secured orders for 350 turbines across nine countries during the quarter. Germany, Turkey, and Latvia were identified as key contributors to the growth.
Total order intake for the first half of 2025 reached 4.5GW, up from 3.36GW in the first six months of the previous year.
Average sales prices in the second quarter rose to €0.97 million per megawatt (MW), with the half-year average at €0.92 million/MW. Nordex said these figures reflect continued pricing stability across recent quarters.
“Building on a strong start to the year, we continued to deliver solid performance in the second quarter,” said José Luis Blanco, chief executive of Nordex Group. “This consistent momentum reflects the strength of our business model and the strategic direction we’ve taken.”
He added: “Looking ahead, we remain focused on our core markets and are very confident in our ability to sustain this positive trajectory.”
The company did not provide financial guidance in its statement but noted the stable pricing environment and regional diversification as supportive factors for future performance.
