Empire Energy and Ellevo Group have formed a new joint venture to provide specialist lifting and transport consultancy services for the offshore wind sector, the companies said on Tuesday.
The venture, named Empire Energy–Ellevo (e³), will combine Empire’s operational know-how with Ellevo’s engineering and assurance capabilities to deliver support across all stages of offshore wind project development, from early planning to operations and maintenance.
The companies said e³ will offer services to developers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and contractors, including constructability reviews, engineered lift planning, marshalling, commissioning, and long-term operational support.
“The joint venture is designed to provide scalable, integrated solutions to meet the growing complexity and global reach of offshore wind developments,” the companies said in a joint statement.
Empire and Ellevo have previously collaborated on large-scale infrastructure and energy projects, including Hornsea 2, Neart na Gaoithe, and Hinkley Point C. The new entity will also expand its footprint internationally, with active engagements in the Middle East, including work on the NEOM development in Saudi Arabia.
The partners said e³ is positioned to support what they described as “the most ambitious offshore wind programmes worldwide,” as the sector accelerates toward increased global deployment.
