MET Group has inaugurated Hungary’s largest standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) at the Dunamenti Power Station in Százhalombatta, further advancing efforts to enhance grid flexibility and support renewable energy integration. The 40-megawatt (MW) / 80 megawatt-hour (MWh) system operates on a two-hour charge-discharge cycle and marks a significant scale-up from the company’s earlier 4MW/8MWh
