Renewable energy company Enfinity Global has signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) with a U.S. technology firm for electricity generated from a 420-megawatt portfolio of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Italy, the company said on Monday.
The agreements form part of Enfinity’s broader efforts to support corporate energy buyers in reducing carbon emissions and securing long-term renewable energy supplies.
“We are pleased to continue supporting our customers across diverse sectors in Italy as they advance their energy transition,” said Enfinity Global Chief Executive Carlos Domenech. “Our goal is to serve global and local customers in their renewable energy needs.”
The independent power producer has secured 805 MW of solar PPAs in Italy over the past two years, working with large corporations and industrial clients, according to the company.
Founded in 2019, Enfinity Global operates in the United States, Europe, Japan, and India. Its global portfolio includes 35.5 gigawatts of renewable energy and energy storage projects in various stages, with an additional 37 GW under negotiation in the United States.
