Sungrow has completed the installation of a 60 megawatt-hour (MWh) battery energy storage system (BESS) in Simo, Lapland, less than 100 kilometres south of the Arctic Circle, in one of the northernmost projects of its kind globally. The project, developed as part of the FRV AmpTank joint venture, features 26 of Sungrow’s PowerTitan liquid-cooled battery
