Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has named Ibrahim Oezarslan as its first chief commercial officer, a newly established role that will place him in charge of global sales and project execution across all regions.
Oezarslan, who previously served as CEO of Nordex’s Europe division, will report directly to chief executive José Luis Blanco. All regional managing directors will now report to Oezarslan under the new structure.
“We are delighted that Ibrahim Oezarslan will be taking on the role of chief commercial officer at Nordex,” said Blanco. “Ibrahim’s more than 25 years of experience at Nordex, most of them in various customer-facing management positions, his impressive track-record and his deep understanding of the industry across functions and regions, will provide invaluable support as we continue to grow our business.”
Oezarslan has held several senior roles within the company in areas including service, operations, and sales. He holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Aarhus University School of Engineering and began his career in 1995 as a project engineer in Germany and Denmark.
The appointment is part of Nordex’s broader strategy to streamline commercial operations and reinforce its presence in global wind markets.
