Catherine Failliet has been appointed managing director of the French operations of renewable energy developer Energiequelle, succeeding Jan Ducouret, who has moved on to new opportunities in North America.
Failliet, who has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector across France and Europe, will lead the company’s operations in France at a time of significant transformation within the renewable energy sector. Her expertise spans not only sales but also the evolving roles and structures within energy organizations.
In a statement, Failliet expressed her commitment to the sector, saying: “The development of renewable energies is an opportunity to get all citizens on board and will lead to a profound transformation of the electricity sector, in the service of a political and societal change that has yet to be defined.”
Michael Raschemann, CEO of Energiequelle Group, welcomed Failliet’s appointment, stating, “I am very pleased that Catherine has taken over the management of Energiequelle in France. Thanks to her rich experience as a manager and her professionalism as well as her warm personality, she has quickly found her place in our French team.”
Raschemann added that Failliet’s understanding of the German-speaking market and culture will aid in fostering effective collaboration within the company. “It’s already clear that Catherine embodies Energiequelle’s values,” he said.
