Chinese wind turbine manufacturer Goldwind has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Turkish renewable energy company IC Enterra Yenilenebilir Enerji to explore potential wind energy projects in Turkey and international markets.
The MoU aims to explore collaborative opportunities in the wind energy sector as part of Goldwind’s strategy to localize its operations and expand its footprint in Turkey’s growing renewable energy market. The partnership will focus on identifying and developing wind energy projects that align with both companies’ renewable energy goals.
Wang Hai, General Manager of Goldwind International, emphasized Turkey’s strategic role in Eurasian energy markets. “Türkiye is a strategic hub connecting Eurasian energy markets, and its renewable energy goals align perfectly with Goldwind’s global vision,” Wang said. “We look forward to working with IC Enterra Yenilenebilir Enerji to deliver high-quality wind projects that will drive Türkiye’s energy transition and contribute to global carbon neutrality.
