Vestas has secured a 62MW order from MiBRAG for the Profen 2 wind project in Germany. Under the terms of the agreement, Vestas will supply 10 V162 6.2MW turbines for the project.
In addition to turbine supply, the deal includes a 20-year AOM5000 service agreement, ensuring long-term operational support for the project. The delivery of the turbines is planned to begin in the first quarter of 2026, with commissioning scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
The agreement highlights Vestas’ continued role in supporting the expansion of wind energy in Germany and further solidifies its position as a key player in the European renewable energy market.
