Qualitas Energy has acquired two onshore wind farms in Germany, with a combined capacity of 29 megawatts (MW). One of the projects is located in Bavaria, while the other is situated in Saxony-Anhalt and is in the advanced planning stages.
Once completed, the wind farms are expected to supply sustainable energy to more than 19,000 households. This acquisition is part of a series of deals completed by Qualitas Energy in recent months, as the company continues to expand its renewable energy investments.
Johannes Overbeck, CEO of Qualitas Energy Germany, emphasized the company's commitment to renewable energy and the rapid pace of its investments. “Our acquisitions underline the high pace of investment and Qualitas Energy's strong commitment to renewable energies,” Overbeck said. “Thanks to the continuous identification and securing of projects with high potential, we are strengthening our role as one of the key energy transition players in Germany.”
