LM Wind Power has announced the extension of its partnership with Enercon through a new multi-year contract to manufacture onshore wind blades for the E160 EP5 turbine. This contract further solidifies the companies’ collaboration, which began in 2018.
Under the terms of the agreement, production of the LM78.3 blades will take place at LM Wind Power’s facility in Dabaspet, India. We are honoured to continue supporting the OEM’s efforts to expand renewable energy solutions worldwide while reinforcing our shared commitment to innovation and sustainability in the wind energy industry.”
The E160 EP5 turbine, equipped with LM Wind Power’s advanced blade technology, is positioned to meet the growing demand for renewable energy across both established and emerging markets. The companies emphasized the role of this technology in advancing global energy transition efforts.
LM Wind Power remains committed to providing high-quality, innovative solutions that contribute to the ongoing shift toward sustainable energy.
