Grenergy has unveiled a refreshed brand identity alongside a $2.6 billion investment plan for the period 2023-2026, underlining its commitment to sustainable energy and energy storage solutions. The company aims to strengthen its role in providing stable and reliable power, emphasizing energy storage as a key component of its growth strategy.
Grenergy's investment plan allocates $2.3 billion to its flagship energy storage project, the 2GW Oasis de Atacama in Chile. This initiative is set to be replicated across other regions, including Latin America, Europe, and the United States, as part of the company's efforts to expand its global presence.
“With this investment plan, we are advancing towards a more sustainable and efficient energy model,” Grenergy said in a statement, highlighting its aim to create a stable and reliable power supply. The company's portfolio currently exceeds 25GWh of storage capacity and 15.6GW of solar power, establishing it as a key player in the energy storage market.
In parallel with the investment plan, Grenergy has partnered with creative agency Erretres to design its new visual and verbal identity. The updated brand image takes inspiration from chlorophyll, symbolizing the company's commitment to sustainability, and the structure of battery cells, reflecting its focus on energy storage.
David Ruiz de Andrés, chairman and CEO of Grenergy, emphasized the company's ambition for global leadership. “With our new brand, we aim to reflect our continuous growth while maintaining the same ambition that drove Grenergy's creation 18 years ago,” he said. “We aspire to be a global benchmark, demonstrating our leadership in energy storage and providing highly competitive and sustainable solar power 24/7.”
The refreshed brand identity also embraces contemporary design, incorporating simplicity, innovative graphics, and typography to reflect Grenergy's technological focus. The verbal strategy underscores key messages of sustainability and reliability, with phrases such as “Always green, forever energy” and “On and on” to emphasize the continuity of green energy.
