SUSI Partners has completed the sale of two onshore wind portfolios located in France and Finland, as part of its ongoing strategy for the SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II (SREF II). The combined generation capacity of the projects is 80 MW, producing an average of 223 GWh of electricity annually. This output is enough to power approximately 60,000 European households and avoids over 275,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
The French portfolio, acquired by Brussels-based infrastructure manager Watts Green, consists of three wind farms purchased in 2015 and 2016. The farms together produce 98 GWh of electricity annually.
The Finnish portfolio, which has been sold to Locus Energy, consists of three wind farms acquired between 2016 and 2018, with a combined annual production of around 125 GWh.
SUSI Partners launched the SREF II in 2014, building a portfolio of operational onshore wind and solar PV assets across Europe. The projects were acquired in either ready-to-build or operating stages, with all projects establishing a robust production track record since beginning commercial operations.
With these recent transactions, SUSI Partners has now sold approximately 60% of SREF II's assets based on invested capital.
