Cadeler has signed two contracts with undisclosed clients for the deployment of its new wind installation vessel, Wind Mover, with services set to begin immediately upon the vessel's delivery.

The vessel, currently under construction at Hanwha Ocean Shipyard in South Korea, is designed to support operations and maintenance (O&M) activities, as well as potential installation services, primarily in European waters.

The total estimated value of the contracts is up to €75 million, depending on the final delivery and redelivery dates of Wind Mover, as well as the scope of work, which may include both O&M and installation services.

The combined contracts will cover the entire period from the vessel's arrival in Europe after its delivery from the shipyard, through to its next scheduled installation project.

Wind Mover will be the second of two M-class wind installation vessels in Cadeler's newbuild portfolio, both engineered to handle the next-generation wind turbines that are increasingly being deployed across Europe.

“Wind Mover is designed to meet the growing demands of offshore wind projects,” said a company spokesperson. “This contract marks a significant step in strengthening our capabilities to support the expansion of offshore wind .”

Wind Mover is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2025, while its sister vessel, Wind Maker, was delivered to Cadeler in January 2025.
