Qualitas Energy has announced the acquisition of a 117MW solar portfolio in Poland from international renewable energy developer ib vogt. The portfolio comprises two photovoltaic solar farms, both in the “ready-to-build” phase, with construction scheduled to begin in the second and third quarters of 2025.
The solar plants, located in the Mazowieckie and Swiętokrzyskie voivodeships, are expected to be operational by the second half of 2026. Upon completion, the plants are forecast to generate over 125GWh of clean energy annually, enough to power approximately 65,000 households.
This acquisition significantly expands Qualitas Energy’s presence in the Polish market, complementing its existing 113MW Milkowice solar plant, which became operational in 2024. The Milkowice plant is now supplying energy to around 60,000 households.
“Through this acquisition, we continue to build on our portfolio in Poland, strengthening our position as a leading player in the renewable energy sector,” said a spokesperson for Qualitas Energy.
With this latest deal, Qualitas Energy further solidifies its growing footprint in Poland’s solar energy market, contributing to the country’s transition towards renewable energy.
