Masdar and Partners Sign Deal for 1.2GW Solar Projects in Egypt

Masdar, Infinity Power, and Hassan Allam Utilities have signed agreements with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) to develop solar projects totaling 1.2 gigawatts (GW) and incorporating 720 megawatt-hours (MWh) of battery energy storage systems (BESS). The agreements, part of Egypt’s renewable energy push, include two power purchase agreements (PPAs) for a 900MW solar plant
