Public Power Corporation SA (PPC), Greece's electric power giant, has initiated construction on three wind parks with a combined capacity of approximately 100 MW.
The projects are located in Rhodope, Phocis, and Argolida and will be equipped with 19 Nordex N149/5.X turbines. Once completed in the first half of 2026, the parks will generate 280 GWh of clean energy annually.
PPC Group, which currently holds about 5.5 GW of installed capacity, is targeting an expansion to 11.8 GW by 2027, with a current pipeline of 3.8 GW under construction or shovel-ready.
The company continues to grow through both organic development and acquisitions, including a recent deal to acquire a 629 MW renewables portfolio from Romanian power producer Evryo Group, which includes 145 MW in project pipelines.
