Enapter AG, a German electrolyser manufacturer, has revised its full-year revenue projections down by approximately EUR 10 million (USD 10.5 million) following delays in the production of its Nexus-class units.
The company stated that some customer projects would be postponed as a result, with a significant portion of sales now expected to materialize in 2025.
Enapter's updated revenue guidance for 2024 is between EUR 22 million and EUR 24 million, down from the previously forecasted EUR 34 million.
However, the company's guidance for a loss before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) remains unchanged, ranging between EUR 7 million and EUR 8 million.
In the first half of 2024, Enapter saw a substantial increase in orders, securing EUR 23.4 million, compared to EUR 4.6 million during the same period in 2023.
This growth was driven by deals for its megawatt-class devices from regions including Germany, Europe, Asia, the US, and Italy. As of June 2024, Enapter's order backlog stood at EUR 40.8 million.
