In late October, Spain's Official State Gazette revealed progress on nine new photovoltaic and hybrid energy projects totaling 583 MW. Among the key projects, Prodiel's Envatios XXV photovoltaic park is set to add 183.75 MW of solar power capacity across Guadalajara municipalities. Prodiel has requested modifications to prior administrative and construction authorisations, a move that could expedite project development.
Enel Green Power is also advancing its 58.74 MW Motilla Hybrid FV project in Cuenca, designed to integrate with an existing 51 MW wind farm. This combination of solar and wind resources highlights Enel's strategy to enhance renewable output through hybridisation.
Repsol is proceeding with four Las Majas VII photovoltaic projects, each generating 10.89 MW. These are set to complement the existing Las Majas VII wind farms in Zaragoza, which produce 49.4 MW each. Having cleared environmental impact assessments, these projects are poised to strengthen hybrid energy contributions in the region.
Watt Development's 59 MW Aldea San Miguel photovoltaic project, spanning several Valladolid municipalities, has applied for recognition as a public utility. Meanwhile, Sun Technology 2000, backed by well-known figures Alberto Cortina Koplowitz and Juan Porras Pedraza, has submitted a request to modify its 26 MW Casares Solar III project in Málaga to bolster its operational scope.
In Huesca, Cubico Sustainable Investments has resolved environmental impact requirements for its Filera I and V photovoltaic plants (49.9956 MWp), paving the way for the project to support Spain's renewable energy goals. Técnicas y Mantenimientos Renovables has similarly received prior authorisation for its Santico I and II photovoltaic projects in Zamora, adding 49.686 MW each to the national grid.
Alfanar Energía has secured authorisation modifications for its El Parral photovoltaic project, a 17 MW installation extending across several municipalities in Guadalajara and Madrid. In contrast, Lantania Group's Santo Domingo LAN2 project in La Rioja faced a setback with a recent denial of administrative authorisation.
