EDF Renewables North America has partnered with Arizona Public Service (APS) to secure a power purchase agreement (PPA) for its 250-MW/1,000 MWh Beehive battery energy storage system (BESS) project, which is scheduled to commence operations in 2026. The 20-year agreement, announced by EDF Renewables on Monday, will see the installation of the Beehive lithium-ion battery
