Gensol Engineering Ltd (BOM:542851) has secured a contract valued at INR 7.8 billion (USD 92.7 million/EUR 85.1 million) to develop and construct a 150-MW solar park in Maharashtra, India, for a public sector utility.
According to a filing made on Sunday, the turnkey contract, which spans 15 months, covers all phases of the project, from land acquisition and design to engineering, procurement, and logistics.
The scope includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of the photovoltaic (PV) farm, along with infrastructure for energy transmission to the substation.
Gensol will also manage the solar park's operations and maintenance for three years, covering both the switchyard and transmission facilities.
