Sif and Smulders Secure Supply Contract for East Anglia 2 Offshore Wind Project

Sif Netherlands and Smulders have finalized a contract to provide monopiles and transition pieces for the 960 MW East Anglia 2 (EA2) offshore wind farm, being developed by ScottishPower Renewables off the UK coast. Under the agreement, Sif will manufacture 64 monopiles, while a joint venture between Sif and Smulders will produce 64 transition pieces.
