Sany Renewable Energy's Indian subsidiary has signed significant wind turbine sales agreements totaling 1,624 MW with local subsidiaries of JSW Group and Sembcorp.
The contracts include a 1,324 MW deal with three JSW Group entities, alongside an additional 300 MW order from Sembcorp's Indian subsidiary.
Though specific project details and financial terms have not been disclosed, Sany highlighted the agreement as a step toward fostering sustainable energy solutions in India.
At the signing ceremony, the Chinese original equipment manufacturer (OEM) emphasized the collaboration as evidence of Sany's commitment to advancing wind power through research and development and technical innovation.
