KGAL klimaSUBSTANZ, a private investment fund established by KGAL GmbH & Co KG and Universal Investment, has acquired its first asset—a 9.6-MW wind farm currently under construction near Bliestorf in northern Germany.
The Bliestorf facility will feature two Nordex wind turbines, each with a capacity of 4.8 MW, and is being developed by GP JOULE. The project is expected to be connected to the grid in the first half of 2025.
Investors in KGAL klimaSUBSTANZ will benefit from a secured feed-in tariff for 20 years following the commissioning of the wind farm.
The fund aims to develop a diversified portfolio across Europe, focusing primarily on onshore wind and photovoltaic systems, with a targeted return of 4% to 5.5% per year after costs.
