Dutch engineering firm TWD and consultancy IX Renewables have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen their presence in the offshore wind sector across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Under this agreement, IX Renewables will manage offshore wind developments, including engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI), while TWD will focus on providing engineering services such as method engineering and equipment design.
This partnership aims to enhance service quality and ensure efficient project execution from initial concept to final delivery.
Thijs Roethof, business developer at TWD, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, noting that “leveraging combined strengths and expertise” will boost efficiency and project feasibility.
Eric Kamphues, CEO of IX Renewables, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the partnership will help accelerate offshore wind development in the region.
