Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), through its flagship fund CI V, has announced a strategic partnership with Stiesdal Offshore, aiming to establish the company as a key player in the floating wind industry.
With floating wind expected to see significant growth between 2030 and 2040, the partnership seeks to accelerate the development of floating offshore wind projects and position Stiesdal Offshore as a comprehensive provider in this space.
Michael Hannibal, partner at CIP, highlighted the importance of floating wind in the global energy transition, stating, “We are committed to floating offshore wind, which we believe will play a crucial role in the global shift to renewable energy.
