ANGI Energy Systems, a North American supplier of refueling equipment for compressed gases and part of the Vontier group, is expanding its operations in Europe to support the growth of its hydrogen, biomethane, and compressed natural gas (CNG) business. The company has appointed David Muckle as European Managing Director to lead this effort.
With over 2,000 system installations globally, ANGI is the largest provider of CNG, biomethane, and hydrogen compression and refueling infrastructure in North America. Muckle, who has extensive experience in the compressed gases sector, will drive the full commercialisation of ANGI's solutions across Europe. His background includes managing hydrogen mobility and refueling infrastructure, and leading efforts in the electrification of buses in the UK.
In his new role, Muckle will collaborate with sister company Gilbarco Veeder-Root to expand ANGI's product offerings in Europe. He emphasized the importance of building the infrastructure needed to help customers achieve decarbonization goals.
Joel van Rensburg, President at ANGI, described Muckle's appointment as pivotal to the company's 40-year history, enabling it to contribute to Europe's ambitious net zero objectives through innovative refueling technologies.
