Avaada secures $1.07bn for Green Hydrogen and Ammonia projects in India

Avaada Group, a player in the energy transition sector in , has successfully raised $1.07 billion to support its and green ammonia projects. This is part of the company's larger $1.3 billion fundraising plan, which aims to diversify into the manufacturing of green hydrogen, green ammonia, and solar PV.

Renewable, through its Brookfield Global Transition Fund (BGTF), is investing up to $1 billion in Private Limited, while Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC) will be investing $68 million in Private Limited to support its growth and release its debt obligations.

The Avaada Group has a renewable energy portfolio of approximately 4 GW and aims to increase this to 11 GW by 2026. The latest funding will further strengthen the company's position in the global energy transition and its commitment to sustainable energy for the future.
