German renewables investor Aream Group has finalized the sale of a portfolio consisting of 11 solar farms in Italy, totaling 10.6 MWp, to local independent power producer (IPP) LCF Alliance.
The facilities, located in the southern region of Apulia, were developed and constructed between 2009 and 2011 and are managed by SolEs Zarasol GmbH, a German holding company.
Founded in 2017, LCF Alliance has established partnerships with investment funds in the Italian market, primarily focusing on small-scale solar plants with capacities around 1 MW. In 2024, the company transitioned into an IPP through a joint venture with a global financial investor.
LCF has successfully acquired and managed over 130 MW of solar capacity across 90 special-purpose vehicles in collaboration with various infrastructure funds.
Notably, in 2022, LCF acquired solar farms totaling 8 MWp from Aream in both Sicily and Apulia, further solidifying its presence in the Italian renewable energy sector.
