Havfram has signed a Vessel Reservation Agreement with an undisclosed client for the transport and installation of next-generation wind turbines.
The project will be carried out using one of Havfram's new Wind Turbine Installation Vessels (WTIV), which is currently under construction and set to be delivered in 2025.
Installation activities are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2029, with the project continuing into 2030.
Martin Degen, Vice President of Offshore Wind at Havfram, expressed enthusiasm about the deal: “We are thrilled about this agreement which further strengthens our contract backlog. We expect to commence installation activities during the first quarter of 2029 and for the project to carry on into 2030. Havfram will deliver its services with utmost attention to detail using one of our newbuild state-of-the-art WTIV, which will be delivered in 2025.”
