Ceará's state governor Elmano de Freitas, in conjunction with Brazil's Vice President Geraldo Alckmin, has approved the initial phase of Fortescue Metals Group's USD 5 billion (EUR 5.4 billion) industrial green hydrogen project. The Australian company plans to establish the facility on a 121-hectare (298.9 acres) site within Sector 2 of Ceará's Export Processing Zone
