The agreement focuses on JinkoSolar's N-type Tiger Neo series, which utilizes advanced N-type TOPCon technology. Specifically, the supply includes 78 devices for the 1.2-GW Haden solar project and 66 devices for the 1.8-GW Al-Khushaybi project, as announced in a statement on Thursday.

This new contract follows a previous agreement made about a year ago, in which JinkoSolar committed to deliver 3.8 GW of N-type Tiger Neo modules for two other ACWA Power projects in Saudi Arabia—the 1.581-GWp Al Kahfah and the 2.257-GWp Ar Rass 2.

Earlier in 2024, JinkoSolar also revealed plans to establish a joint venture in Saudi Arabia, aimed at creating a factory capable of producing 10 GW of solar cells and modules.
