Seaway7 has successfully completed the engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning of the cable systems for Ocean Winds' 882 MW Moray West Offshore Wind Farm.
The project involved the installation of 118 kilometers of 66 kV inner-array cables, which connect the 60 turbines to two offshore substations, as well as an additional 15 kilometers of 66 kV cabling linking the two substations.
Seaway7 attributed this achievement to the dedication and hard work of its Offshore Management Teams, vessel crews, and project team.
The cables used for the installation were supplied by JDR Cable Systems, with operations based out of Aberdeen.
