Greenvolt Group has increased its syndicated financing from €350 million to €400 million, driven by strong interest from the financial community.
The additional funds will strengthen Greenvolt's balance sheet and support the expansion of its utility-scale renewable energy projects.
The financing increase was facilitated by the inclusion of two additional banks, one being a new corporate lending partner, bringing the total number of lenders in the facility to eight.
Initially, the syndicate comprised one institutional investor and five banks, with four new financial institutions joining as corporate-level partners.
Commenting on the development, Greenvolt CEO João Manso Neto said, “This increase in financing reflects the trust that financial institutions have in our strategy in the renewables sector. It also highlights the benefits of having KKR as a key shareholder, extending our reach within the financial community.”
