Energia SA has completed the expansion of its Ouroeste Complex in São Paulo state, boosting the facility's total installed capacity to 178.3 MW.

The complex, operational since 2019, was recently enhanced with the addition of the 33-MW AGV VII solar park.

Ouroeste can now generate enough clean energy to supply a town of approximately 800,000 inhabitants.

The AGV VII solar park was constructed adjacent to the Boa Hora and Água Vermelha solar parks, and its eight-month development created over 300 jobs in the region.

In 2023, the complex produced 301,490.71 MWh of electricity, offsetting 11,610.28 tonnes of dioxide (CO2) emissions. This underscores AES Brasil's commitment to supporting clean energy and reducing its environmental footprint.
