INEOS Inovyn Invests in Renewable Energy with HELIOS Solar Project

Inovyn has taken a significant step towards sustainability by investing in the project, which consists of 90,000 panels in Jemeppe-sur-Sambre, Belgium. The solar farm is expected to generate over 57,000 MWh of renewable electricity annually to power the INEOS Inovyn site from 2024 onwards. The electricity will be supplied through an exclusive power purchase agreement.

This investment is part of INEOS Inovyn's larger plan to reduce CO₂ emissions by over 30% across all its activities by 2030 and to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. HELIOS will replace around 10% of the electricity requirement at Jemeppe, saving over 14,000 tonnes of CO2 annually.
