Cincinnati-based Synthica Energy has started construction on a Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) plant in San Antonio, marking the city’s first facility of its kind. The project, located at 4318 N IH 35 in Bexar County, is expected to divert nearly 250,000 tons of waste from local landfills annually and is scheduled for completion in 2026.
