Grupo Greening Secures EPC Contract for 60-MW Solar Plant in Indiana

2022 SA, a Spanish clean energy solutions provider, has been awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract to develop a 60-MWac plant in Indiana.

The contract was granted by , a renewables developer-operator based in , as announced by Grupo Greening on Wednesday.

The Jasper County Solar Project will span 454 acres (approximately 183.7 hectares) and is set to begin construction in the fourth quarter of 2024, with completion anticipated by the last quarter of 2025.

This project represents a significant milestone for Grupo Greening, marking its first major contract in the United States, which is a key market outlined in the company's 2024-2026 strategic plan.

With this contract, the company indicated that its solutions business now holds 40% of its megawatt capacity in the U.S.
