Qair and Trapil Partner to Develop Hydrogen and e-Molecule Projects

renewable energy company has joined forces with petroleum pipeline operator Societe des Transports Petroliers par Pipelines (Trapil) to collaboratively develop hydrogen, e- (e-SAF), and ammonia projects.

The partnership will focus on establishing e-molecule distribution schemes in France and international markets, aiming to decarbonize the entire value chain of e-molecule production and distribution.

Qair's involvement aligns with its goal to diversify its product offerings and support industrial decarbonization, particularly in air and sea transport.

The company is actively pursuing e-molecule production initiatives in regions where it already operates renewable energy plants, including , France, and Iceland. Notably, Qair is also constructing what will become France's largest renewable hydrogen production facility and is engaged in e-SAF projects that synthesize and carbon dioxide to create sustainable aviation fuel.

Louis Blanchard, CEO of Qair, emphasized the shared vision of the partnership, stating, “Qair shares with Trapil the same vision of the future of e-molecules, and we are aiming to capitalize on Trapil's expertise to be ready to deliver competitive products to our clients.”
