Hitachi Energy has announced plans to invest an additional $155 million to enhance its manufacturing footprint across North America. This investment includes the construction of a new distribution transformer factory in Reynosa, Mexico, and expansions at its South Boston, Virginia transformer factory, as well as its high-voltage switchgear and breakers facility in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.
