Masdar Nears Deal to Acquire Saeta Yield from Brookfield Asset Management

UAE-based renewables developer Masdar is reportedly in the final stages of negotiations to acquire Spanish clean energy producer Saeta Yield SA, part of Brookfield Asset Management's portfolio. Insiders indicate that the two parties are finalizing the details of the transaction, with an announcement expected in September. Saeta Yield was taken private by Brookfield's subsidiary TerraForm
