UAE-based renewables developer is reportedly in the final stages of negotiations to acquire Spanish clean energy producer Saeta Yield SA, part of Asset Management's portfolio.

Insiders indicate that the two parties are finalizing the details of the transaction, with an announcement expected in September.

Saeta Yield was taken private by Brookfield's subsidiary TerraForm Power in a USD 1.2 billion (EUR 1.07 billion) deal in 2018, and current estimates place its valuation at approximately EUR 1.5 billion.

While discussions are advanced, sources caution that there remains a risk the negotiations could falter.

Additionally, earlier reports suggested that , a state-owned power company, was also considering a potential takeover bid for Saeta Yield.
