German renewables developer PNE AG has named Heiko Wuttke as its new CEO, effective January 13, 2025. Wuttke will take over from interim CEO Per Hornung Pedersen, who has been leading the company since the departure of former CEO Markus Lesser in July.
Wuttke, a veteran in the renewable energy sector, will serve under a three-year contract, which extends until January 31, 2028. Alongside his CEO role, Wuttke will assume the position of chairman of the board of management. He brings nearly three decades of industry experience, most recently serving as CEO of offshore wind consultancy 8.2 Consulting AG.
Commenting on his appointment, Wuttke noted, “The PNE Group enjoys an excellent reputation in the industry and has great and motivated employees. PNE has also set itself attractive goals that we now want to achieve together.”
Pedersen will continue to serve on the board of management until March 31, 2025, without a specific area of responsibility.
