Ammper Power has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) securing 50 MW of solar energy from a yet-to-be-named project, expected to begin commercial operations in the fourth quarter of 2025. The renewable energy will be used to supply commercial, industrial, and governmental customers across Texas.
Ammper will manage the distribution of this solar energy to its clients throughout the state, helping them achieve their renewable energy objectives and promoting broader environmental stewardship.
John Werner, Ammper's vice president of business development, highlighted the company's commitment to advancing the energy transition within the ERCOT market, stating, “By offering renewable energy options like solar power, we are not only capable of supporting our customers' goals but also fostering a cleaner, more sustainable energy future for Texas and beyond.”
The PPA reinforces Ammper's role in supporting alternative energy solutions as Texas continues to expand its renewable energy portfolio.
