KGAL has appointed Carolin Vormann as head of institutional business at the German independent investment and asset manager. This strategic move aims to bolster the company's focus on institutional clients in the DACH region.
“We are delighted to welcome Carolin to our senior management team as an experienced executive with outstanding contacts among our target clients in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland),” said KGAL co-chief executive and head of sales Florian Martin. “With her extensive expertise in institutional sales, we will take an important strategic step towards enhancing our focus on the needs of our institutional clients.”
Vormann joins KGAL from HSBC, where she served as managing director and global relationship banker for insurance in HSBC's capital markets business in the DACH region.
Before HSBC, she was head of non-bank financial intermediation at Commerzbank, leading the insurance and pension fund teams. Vormann's career began in the insurance industry in Hanover, where she completed her professional training and passed two state examinations in law.
