French independent renewable power producer Qair has announced the commissioning of its 10-MW Pakosc solar photovoltaic (PV) park in Poland. This new addition brings Qair Polska's total installed capacity in Poland to 398 MW, the company said in a LinkedIn post on Friday.
The Pakosc solar park, located in the Inowrocław district of Kujawsko-Pomorskie province in mid-northern Poland, was constructed by Polish renewables-focused general contractor Onde SA.
Onde was contracted last year to build three PV parks for Qair Polska, with a combined capacity of 120 MW. The Pakosc project is the smallest in this portfolio, which also includes the 80-MW Golczewo PV project in West Pomeranian province and a 30-MW project in central Wielkopolskie province.
The other two projects in the bundle are expected to commence operations in the coming months, according to Qair.
Qair, based in Paris, has been active in Poland since 2015 and is currently developing a portfolio of over 5 GW in wind and solar PV projects.
