Vestas has received an order to supply 62 V120-2.2MW wind turbines for a repowering project in the United States, the company announced on Tuesday.
The project, whose specifics remain undisclosed, is set to enhance the existing wind farm's capacity by 136MW.
The agreement includes the supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines, in addition to a multi-year service agreement.
Turbine deliveries are slated to commence in the third quarter of 2025, with commissioning expected by the fourth quarter of the same year.
