Bluestream Wins Contract for Offshore Wind Farm Remedial Campaign in German North Sea

Bluestream, a business under OEG Renewables, has secured a significant contract to execute a remedial campaign across two wind farms in the German Southern . The contract, awarded by and Stadtwerke Munchen, pertains to the DanTysk and wind farms situated approximately 90 kilometers off Schleswig-Holstein's coast.

Rutger Lieverse, commercial manager at Bluestream, expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating, “We are delighted to be working with Vattenfall on this important remedial campaign delivering our specialist subsea and topside services, leveraging our significant experience managing inspection and maintenance campaigns in these types of shallow water offshore environments.”

The remedial campaign, scheduled to span approximately 35 days, will encompass critical tasks such as replacing Impressed Current Cathodic Protection systems, various reference cells, debris removal, and sonar transponder exchanges. Bluestream plans to utilize the Go Electra multi-purpose service equipped with an air dive spread and a Seaeye Tiger observation class ROV to carry out the project scope.

DanTysk and Sandbank, operational since 2014 and 2017 respectively, collectively boast a capacity of 576MW and cover an expansive area of 150 square kilometers, featuring a total of 152 turbines.
