US residential solar installer Freedom Forever has finalized an agreement to acquire the asset portfolio of Meraki Solar and become the official subcontractor for its new and existing customers.
In this deal, Freedom Forever's major sales associate, Solar Pros, will exclusively partner with Meraki's sales team, allowing Meraki to refocus on its core competency in sales, according to a press statement released on Thursday.
“Given the challenges our industry faces, Freedom Forever views this strategic partnership as a potential model for other firms contemplating business model adjustments,” remarked CEO Brett Bouchy in the Thursday press release.
Meraki Solar, headquartered in Pensacola, Florida and established in 2017, boasts a customer base of 24,945, as per its website.
